[Aidan was lucky that the hospital had allowed him back on the clock so quickly, but the hours he was given left much to be desired. Not that he was going to complain about it aloud though. He was more than grateful that they had been so understanding and accommodating and voicing out his annoyance would only tell them otherwise.
While it had only been day four of his return to a somewhat-normal-"human"-life, Aidan was exhausted, still adjusting to the sudden shift of his body clock. It took him longer than he would've liked to admit to get the front door of the house open, and there was no way he was willing to ring the doorbell when everyone else was likely to still be in bed or just getting out of it. It had just past 6am after all.
Upon getting into the house he stumbled towards the sofa, deciding that doorway down to the basement was too far for his taste right now. Maybe if he closed his eyes for a little while, he'd be able to get back on his feet and make his way downstairs. Or maybe if he sat there long enough, he would be able to see his housemates out of the hospital for the first time since Sally held a stake to his chest.
He mused on this for a little while, eyes remaining closed, not quite asleep, but not quite awake either.]
