"Hey, Steve. What's wrong?"
Draven sat next to his friend at the bar, putting his shield on top of the counter and earning himself a glare from the female barkeep. A quick apology and a sheepish smile got him back in her good graces though, and he even got a refill on his drink when he lowered his shield to the side of his stool. The barkeep winked at him as she moved away to tend to another customer, and Draven laughed out loud.
"Everyone's so friendly in this place, huh? No wonder you like coming here!" He took a sip of his drink and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, then turned to his friend and threw an arm around his shoulders.
"Hey, listen. Sorry for missing you earlier. I told Ana and Nina that I only came here to see you though, so they shouldn't bother us anymore." Draven grinned and pulled his friend closer in a slightly awkward one-arm hug. "So cheer up, OK?"
