» Above are the characters I am willing to play right off the bat. Everyone else could be found over yonder. » If there's anyone up there you wanna play with, hit me up with their name on the subject line and a scenario as a reply. If you can't think of a scenario, just leave the comment blank and I'll try to think of something instead. » Action tags, prose, picture prompt starter, it's totally your call. » Want the original code for this? There had been a few new papers related to an upcoming case, and even more from one that he had just wrapped up. As much as he wanted to get things down and over with, he felt the need to take a break to grab some coffee. There was no way he wasn't going to finish everything tonight without some caffeine in his system.
He had excused himself from his work, stopping by the coffee shop down the street to do just that. While it wasn't too long of a trip, he had returned to his office to find a surprise visitor looking out the window.]
If I had known you were stopping by I would have ordered another cup, Fräulein Detective.

Christ! Don't do that!

That certainly wasn't my intention.

[She wants to say more, something like asking why he's still here doesn't a fop like him need his beauty sleep? but she manages to hold off knowing all too well that it would lead to extending an interaction that she doesn't want to have with him.
Instead she brandishes the file at him.]
I came to drop this off since you insisted you wanted it on your desk ASAP.

[Flipping through the pages, he idly looks through it, just to see if everything was in order.]
Might I interest you to a cup? [He glances over to his drink before meeting his colleague's eye.] The office coffee may not be up to par but it does the job.
no subject
...I'm up anyway. Might as well.

Have a seat while I go get your coffee. Or do you care the join me?

[It's easy to get back into the whole 'I don't like you' banter with Klavier, which a very small part of her is thankful for.]
Who knows what I'll catch if you make it.
no subject
I can assure you that you won't catch anything from me. But if you say so, be my guest.
[With that, he steps aside for her to head out first.]
Fräuleins first.

[She gives him another disdainful look before stomping out first before him and making a hard turn to the kitchens (which are a lot nicer than the ones at the precinct).]
