likearhino[It was a weekday, which meant it was a school day, and yet Beat hadn't shown up to any of his classes that day. Why? Because he didn't feel like it.
He had woke up to a beautiful day, and was immediately overcome by the urge to go out and skate. It would be a shame to let a day like this go to waste. Besides, listening to lectures and taking down notes to things he would never really use in the future seemed senseless to him.
One thing he was sure about though was that an excuse like "Why not?" was not going to fly any of the teachers, so he sent out on text to Shiki asking her to cover him. As soon as the deed was done, he shut down his phone, keeping out of reach for the rest of the day.
So it's only after school's finally out that he sees all the voicemail messages left for him through out the day.]
